(e)  First Aid/Hygiene & Sanitation – To acquaint with the basic knowledge required for day to day life.

 

(f)   Map Reading – Confidence in reaching new places of interest with the help of Map.

 

(g)  Civil Defence – To provide First Aid and help at the time of emergencies and natural calamities.

 

(h)  Organization and Administration of NCC – To be aware of the system of functioning of NCC.

 

(i)    Field Craft/Battle Craft and Tactics – To acquaint trainees on basic/Infantry tactics at section and platoon level.

 

(j)    Field Engineering – To acquaint trainees in instruction of Field defence.

 

(k)  Adventure Training – In side a spirit of adventure and camaraderie.

 

(l)    Camp Craft – Trains to establish an out door Camp proceeded by a sand model discussion on the functioning and lay out of a Camp.

 

(m)                     Ecology – Development of better environment in ecological system.

 

(n)  Seminars in Leadership traits, National Integration and community Development.

 

INCENTIVES TO NCC CADETS

 

1.       NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders with aggregate 50% marks, their names are forwarded to SSB by DG NCC.

 

2.       Employment opportunists for Girls Cadets SW: -

          (a)      First Priority – Attended RDC and Selected YEP

          (b)     Second Priority – Attended RDC and Selected as BC

          (c)     Third Priority – Attended RDC

 

          Sahara Ambey Valley Company is offering a consolidated pay scale of    Rs.4, 000/- during probation and Rs.7, 000/- on confirmation.

 

3.       Enrolment in Army: -

          (a)      NCC ‘A’ Certificate Holder – 5% Bonus Marks

          (b)     NCC ‘B’ Certificate Holders – 8% Bonus Marks

          (c)     NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holder are exempted from appearing CEE

                                                                   (Common Entrance Exam) and

                                                                   Placed on top of merit list. They

                                                                   Are required to pass physical fitness

                                                                   Test.

4.       Brink’s Arya Security Excellence Centre: -

                   Providing Global Security transport service and have 41 branches through out of India as security staff initial salary approximately Rs.4000/- pm., will be increased annually.

 

5.       Sahara India Commercial Corporation Limited Amby Valley Sahara Lake City: -

                  

(a)      NCC ‘C’ Certificate holder with proficiency in English/Hindi and Graduate, Medically fit.

(b)     Stipend Rs.4600/- on probation for period of 12 months and on confirmation would be getting Rs.7000/- pm.

          (c)     Entitled subsidized food and Bachelor accommodation on sharable basis.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6.       Scholarship: -

          Annual Sahara Scholarships: Rs.1 Crore Scholarship annually have been earmarked by Sahara Group for NCC Cadets: -

 

          Eligibility criteria: -

          (a) Cadets should have passed X or equivalent for JD/JW NCC Cadets.

          Amount of Scholarship Rs.5000/-

         

(b) Cadets should have passed XII (PUC-II) for SD/SW NCC Cadets.

          Amount of Scholarship Rs.15000/- for 2 Cadets

 

(c) Higher Studies – On passing 10 + 2 for Engineering, Medical, Business   Administration, Hotel Managements etc

          Amount of Scholarship Rs.40000/- per 1 year

 

7.       Award of Scholarship by the NCC Cadets Welfare Society (Rs.10/- paid by Cadets on enrolment as NCC Cadets) : -

 

(a) JD/JW Cadets should have obtained minimum 70% marks in the aggregate of all subjects in the X (S S L C).

 

(b) SD/SW Cadets should have obtained minimum 70% of marks on the aggregate in Science and 60% in the case of Arts/Commerce.
